Our extensive equipment rental fleet options range from an agile bucket van with a 29 foot boom, to an Aspen Aerials A-75 Underbridge inspection truck that boasts an impressive horizontal reach of up to 75 feet, while lowering a bucket as much as 85 feet from a bridge deck.

Underbridge Inspection Unit Rental (Bridge Inspection Truck)
McClain and Company maintains a large fleet of underbridge inspection unit rental vehicles, also known as a bridge inspection truck. We have several vehicles offering horizontal underbridge reach ranging from 24 feet to just under 69 feet. With over half a dozen track- and trailer-mounted platform units to choose from, finding the right “fit” for your project’s requirements and limitations is easy.
When the work requires several workers in place under a bridge deck, underbridge track- or trailer-mounted platform equipment is essential. Safety, versatility, and stability all help to ensure the work is done efficiently and cost-effectively.
Bucket Truck Rental
In addition to our underbridge platform units, McClain and Company offers a choice of different high-end bucket van and bucket truck rental units. For less demanding jobs, we have a smaller unit that features a one-man bucket capacity and a maximum work height boom of 34 feet.
On the other end of the scale, our largest bucket truck rental unit features a boom that can take the two-man, 700 pound capacity bucket up to 60 feet with a “Maximum Reach Non-Overcenter” of just over 43 feet.
Utility Truck Rental
When it comes to utility truck rental and aerial boom lifts, McClain and Company offers a 50 foot “sign” truck that can provide a 56 foot working height for a 900 pound capacity platform.
Need a bit more reach? No worries! We also have a 70 foot version that has the ability to place a similar platform with a capacity of 900 pounds up to a maximum of 75 feet of work height. And, while we categorize these as “Sign Truck Rental” vehicles they can be employed for a variety of work that requires material handling and multiple workers being safely placed at height.
Hi-Rail Truck Rental
It’s not always about highway bridges and vehicle traffic. In addition, Hi-Rail underbridge inspection trucks and Hi-Rail bucket trucks are needed for inspections and repairs of Class I Railroad and Shortline Railroad bridges.
Our selection of Hi-Rail truck rental bucket trucks are designed for easy access to railroad bridge overhead structural components. They range from units providing a 46 foot work height and a bucket capacity of 1,000 pounds, to units that can raise a two-man bucket up to a 66 foot work height.
Snooper™ Truck Rental
The famed Snooper™ bucket trucks became so popular and common during the 1960s and 1970s that the name has become practically a generic name for any underbridge inspection and maintenance truck, regardless of the make.
For our Snooper™ Truck rental, we are proud to offer a 40′ Paxton-Mitchell Underbridge Bucket Snooper™ Truck with a horizontal reach of 40 feet with a two-man bucket. In addition, we have a 60 foot version that can extend a three-man, 600 pound capacity bucket either 55 feet or 60 feet, depending on the unit.

For construction projects where earthmoving is required, we still have you covered. Sometimes referred to as a skip loader, scoop loader, or even a bucket loader, the Komatsu WA380 Wheel Loader brings a bucket capacity of between 3.5 to 4.3 cubic yards.
We also provide Traffic Control Safety Services and Equipment rentals that include Track-Mounted Attenuators as well as trailered devices such as:
