The Tappan Zee Bridge, officially named the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge after former New York Governor Mario Cuomo, is a twin cable-stayed bridge spanning the Hudson River between Tarrytown and Nyack in the U.S. state of New York.
The Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge is open to traffic as work continues on the bicycle/pedestrian path and removal of the old Tappan Zee Bridge.
